These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the products and services offered under the “Aether Apps LTD” brand (the “Services”), including our mobile applications, websites, and related online services.

1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2) Privacy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and share information about you. The Privacy Policy forms part of your relationship with us.
3) Additional Terms
Certain features may be subject to additional terms (e.g., promotional rules, family plan rules, beta features). If there is a conflict, the additional terms for that feature will apply.
4) Eligibility and AccountsAge.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent/guardian, who is responsible for your use.
Account security. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account.

5) Subscriptions, Trials, and Promotional Offers
Some Services require a paid subscription (“Koru Pro”).
Auto-renewal. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You authorize us (or the relevant app store/payment provider) to charge the applicable subscription fee and taxes.
How to cancel. If you subscribed via Apple App Store / Google Play, you must cancel through the store settings.If you subscribed via our website, you can cancel by contacting support@aetherapps.ai.
Timing. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date (app stores commonly apply this rule).
Trials / discounted periods. If you start a free trial or discounted period, your subscription will convert to paid unless you cancel before the trial ends (per the offer details).
Price changes. If we change subscription pricing, we will provide advance notice and explain how to cancel if you do not agree. Price changes will not take effect mid-billing period.
6) Payments, Refunds, and Withdrawal Rights (EEA/UK/CH)Payment processing. Payments may be handled by third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe). You must keep payment details current.
Refunds via app stores. If you purchased via an app store, refunds are generally handled by that store’s refund process, subject to their policies and applicable law.
7) The Services and Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided through the Services (audio, text, visuals, UI, trademarks, etc.) are owned by Koru or our licensors and are protected by law.
License to you. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Restrictions. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the Services except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
8) User Content
If the Services allow you to post, upload, or submit content (e.g., comments, profile info, feedback, community posts) (“User Content”):
You retain ownership of your User Content.You grant Koru a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Services (and marketing only if you explicitly consent or the feature clearly requires it).You must have rights to any User Content you submit and it must not violate laws or third-party rights.
9) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Services unlawfully or in a way that harms others;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operations;
-circumvent paywalls or security measures;
-misuse the Services (e.g., use while driving if it distracts you);
-infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate access where reasonably necessary.
10) Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (app stores, analytics, payments, external content). Your relationship with those third parties is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services/users. Unless legally prohibited, we will provide notice where reasonable.
12) Warranty (EEA/UK/CH consumer standard)
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. You may have mandatory consumer rights in your country that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.
13) Medical and Safety Disclaimer
Koru provides breathing and wellbeing content for informational and educational purposes only. The Services:
- are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease;
- do not replace professional medical care;
- are not intended for emergencies.
Stop and seek professional advice if you experience dizziness, fainting, chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or any concerning symptoms.
If you have a medical condition (e.g., asthma/COPD, cardiovascular issues), are pregnant, or have a history of panic attacks, consult a clinician before using breathwork practices.
Do not use the Services while driving or operating machinery.
14) Liability (EEA/UK/CH approach)
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms. We are not responsible for losses caused by your breach or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where unlawful to do so (including for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, etc.).
15) Governing Law and Disputes (EEA/UK/CH)
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence (consumer-friendly approach). You may bring claims in your local courts.
If you are an EEA consumer, the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform may be available where required by law.
16) Changes to the Services
We may modify, add, or remove features for valid reasons (security, compliance, preventing harm, improving Services, etc.). Where a change materially and negatively affects your use of the Services, we will provide reasonable advance notice when feasible.
17) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide advance notice of material changes. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
18) Miscellaneous
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are in English; translations are for convenience only (if provided). You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign as part of business operations.
19) Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, you agree we may use them without obligation or compensation.

21) Apple iOS Minimum Terms (Custom EULA)
If you use our iOS app: These Terms are between you and Koru, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support. Koru is responsible for the app and its content as required by law. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this section and may enforce it.
